Turning on manual approval
By default, guest uploads are published immediately to your digital album.
If you prefer to review uploads before they appear to others, you can enable manual approval.
To turn it on:
Desktop: Go to Event Settings → Moderation
Mobile: Go to Settings → Moderation
Enable “Manually Approve Guest Uploads.”
Once this setting is active, all media uploaded by guests will require your approval before appearing in the album.
Note: This feature is available only with the Pro Plan.
Reviewing pending uploads
To review guest uploads that need approval:
Desktop: Go to "Photos & Videos"
Mobile: Go to "Media"
Then open the “Need Approval” tab.
This section shows all photos and videos that are waiting for approval.
From here, you can review them in three ways depending on how you prefer to manage the content.
Option 1: Approve everything at once
If you trust the uploads and want to publish them quickly, use "Approve All".
Approve All instantly publishes all pending media to the album.
Option 2: Review media one by one
If you want to review each upload carefully, you can open items individually.
At the top of the screen, you will see the available actions:
✅ Approve – Publishes the media to the album
👁️ Hide – Moves the media to the Hidden section
❌ Delete – Permanently removes the media
This option is helpful when you want to review each photo or video before deciding what to do with it.
Option 3: Select multiple items from the grid view
You can also manage multiple uploads at once directly from the thumbnail grid.
On desktop:
Move your mouse over the top left corner of a media thumbnail.
Click the selection checkbox that appears.
Select additional items you want to manage.
On mobile:
Press and hold on a media thumbnail to activate multi-selection.
Tap the thumbnails of the other media items you want to select.
After selecting multiple items, a menu will appear at the bottom of the screen. From there you can:
Approve the selected media and publish it to the album
Hide it from the album
Delete it permanently
This is the fastest way to moderate several uploads at once.
