How can I manage guest uploads (approve or reject photos/videos)?

By default, guest uploads are immediately published to your digital album. If you’d like to review each upload before it’s visible to others, you can turn on the manual approval feature.

When you enable "Manually Approve Guest Uploads" in your dashboard, all media uploaded by guests will need your approval before appearing in the album. This feature is available in desktop under Event Settings → Moderation (Settings → Moderation on mobile).

Note: This feature is available only with the Pro Plan.

Managing Pending Media

Go to "Photos and Videos" on desktop ("Media" on mobile) from the menu, then click or tap the "Need Approval" tab. This section shows all the media items that are waiting for approval.

You have the following options:

  1. Approve All: Instantly publishes all pending media to the album.

  2. For individual media, you'll see the following buttons (from left to right):

  • Approve: Publishes the media to the album.

  • 👁️ Hide: Moves the media to the Hidden section.

  • Delete: Permanently removes the media.

You can also tap click on a media item to open it. At the top of the image, you’ll see options to Approve, Hide, or Reject (delete).

Note for mobile users: The Hide option only appears after you open the media item. It won’t show up directly on the preview list like it does on desktop.
