Change the Digital Album background
You can customise your album background from your dashboard.
Go to "Event Settings" ("Settings" on mobile), then click the "Appearance" tab. Click "Album Background" to choose from our available options or upload your own custom background.
Background options
No background selected: The background will cycle through existing photos uploaded to the album.
One or more backgrounds selected: If one background is selected, it displays as a static image. If multiple are selected, the background will cycle between them.
Change the Welcome Screen background
The Welcome Screen is an optional first-visit page that appears before the album when someone opens your digital album link or scans the QR code. Use it to show a short welcome message and, if you choose, collect guest info and consent (e.g., name and permission for social media/marketing use). Guests can submit the form or skip it (based on your settings) and then go straight into the album. If you don’t see it, it’s likely not enabled.
If the Welcome Screen is not enabled: click "Add Welcome Screen".
Once enabled: go to "Appearance" → "Welcome Screen" → "Background" (you’ll see "Edit Welcome Screen" instead of Add) and upload/select your background.
If the new background is not showing
Refresh the page or reopen the shared album link.
Quick check (common mix-up): make sure you didn’t change the "Album Background" while expecting the "Welcome Screen" to update. To change the welcome screen, go to "Appearance" → "Welcome Screen" → "Background".
If it still looks unchanged, type "talk to a person" in chat or email [email protected] with your event link and a short description so our team can investigate.
