What is the Welcome Screen?
The Welcome Screen is an optional first page that guests see when opening your digital album for the first time.
It appears before the album or upload area and allows you to:
Welcome guests to your event
Share instructions, location details, or RSVP notes
Collect guest information (such as name, email, or phone number)
Request consent for media usage (e.g. social media or marketing)
Once guests complete the form, they continue into the album.
How to enable the Welcome Screen
Go to your dashboard
On desktop, click Event Settings (or Settings on mobile)
Open the Appearance tab
Click Add Welcome Screen
Customize the content and activate it
Customize the Welcome Screen (Appearance)
Inside the Welcome Screen, the Appearance tab controls how this page looks and what guests see before entering the album.
You can update:
Main title
Description text
Button label (the action guests take to continue)
Background image
Note:
This Appearance tab applies only to the Welcome Screen, not the overall album design.
The Welcome Screen uses your event name by default, but it will not update automatically if you change the event name later.
The background image here is separate from your album background.
Set up the guest form
The Guest Form tab controls what guests must fill out before entering the album.
From here, you can:
Add new questions
Reorder questions by dragging them
Edit labels and helper text for clarity
You can choose different field types, such as:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Number input
Multiple choice (e.g. department, group, or RSVP selection)
For each question, you can decide if it is:
Required β Guests must answer before continuing
Optional β Guests can skip it
You can also choose to attach guest responses to uploads. These details can appear in captions or file names when downloading media, helping you stay organized.
Note: Only uploads made after enabling or updating this setting will include the new information.
Where to view guest information
When guests upload photos or videos, the information they provide through the form is saved with their media.
You can view this at any time:
Open a photo or video in your dashboard
Go to the Info section to see the guest details linked to that upload
Exporting guest information
You can also export all collected guest data as a file.
Inside the Welcome Screen, go to Guest Form
Click Export Guest Submissions
This will download a CSV file containing all responses.
A CSV file is a simple format that can be opened in tools like Excel or Google Sheets, making it easy to review, organize, or share your guest information.
